Expand FAQ#1004

H

I cannot believe how unfriendly this website is for customer service. The Telegram group isn’t postable. The Discord group isn’t postable. Start with that.

A basic FAQ would be nice like how to END an auction early????

Hi @Holyspiritmanifesto - The Discord group is in fact postable, there may just be different posting requirements depending on the channel. We also run a community suggestions board here, and have a ZenDesk available for support tickets, so I’m not sure what else you’re looking for. On your question about how to end an auction early - when you’re logged into your account and are on the item page, there should be a button there to cancel the sale/listing.

Thanks for the quick response. The Discord group is not postable for me, your Zendesk support never answered my ticket #14850 from 5 days ago is still not answered. I’m just looking for help. How exactly do I get to the item page and where is the button to cancel?

@Holyspiritmanifesto No problem. If you are logged into your account on OpenSea (have your wallet connected) and see your profile icon in our nav bar, click that. That will show you your profile page with all of the assets currently in your wallet. Click the asset you’re interested in ending the auction early for and that will take you to the item page. Once you’re on the item page, in the top right there should be an option to cancel the auction.

I followed your instructions. There is no option to cancel in the top right or anywhere else. Please advise.

I finally found it through another pathway. Your site and your system is not intuitive. Even sending money from Trust Wallet is not straight forward.as it should be.

As you can see above, the Cancel Listing button appears in the top right of the item page

Yes, however that was the first time I saw it. And your instructions did not get me where I was supposed to be, as much as I appreciate the help. Also, I clicked on cancel 5 minutes ago and it’s still not cancelled.

Why is such basic information not on your FAQ page? It doesn’t make sense. If it is there then your system search functionality is broken.

@Holyspiritmanifesto You’re correct that we need to make our interface more intuitive, and also that we need to surface that information on our FAQ. We’re continuing to roll out improvements but it’s a work-in-progress. Feel free to surface any problems you have on this suggestion board; I promise we’re making an effort to capture and address all of the UI/UX problems on the platform.

There’s so many gaping holes it’s incredibly frustrating to work with your site. PERHAPS if you mentioned that you were beta testing your site or that it was v1.0 etc that would alleviate user frustration because they knew that it was a work in progress instead of a user friendly finished product? That said, my auction still isn’t cancelled. Why not? It’s been over 30 minutes.

@Holyspiritmanifesto If you DM me on Twitter (@natechastain) with details of your auction, I can look into it for you. It’s possible that there may be a message within your wallet about a transaction that you need to sign (in order to verify that you want to cancel this listing), but I don’t have all of the details I would need to make an assessment

?

Thanks Nate. Please help. I’ll DM you tomorrow. This has been anything but straight forward from sending gas to uploading the NFT’s to cancelling the auction. Your team can do much better.

Hello

I created the first two collections a week ago (https://opensea.io/collection/small-city and https://opensea.io/collection/space-suit), but they are still not approved.

How do you know what is the reason?

Perhaps I was wrong when creating collections?

There is no support and it is impossible to get an answer
I would appreciate your help.
